| It has been said that the heart of the home is the kitchen. It is where family most often gathers and shares their lives. With "Family Traditions" Morgan Weistling wanted to depict this joyous time and space where many traditions are handed down from one generation to another. The painting even stirred fond memories for the artist during its creation, “I couldn’t help thinking of my own family and how we still talk about that special apple pie Nana would make and no one else can duplicate.” |
