Golden Eagle Art Gallery is pleased to offer an extensive collection of world-renowned artworks by Canadian wildlife artist, Robert Bateman.  World-travelled and well versed, Bateman always tells a great story about each of his creations. Here is what he has to say about this piece: 

"For two years, I taught high school geography in southeast Nigeria. As soon as I was established and had gotten my bearings of the local area, I sent word out to the nearby villages that I would pay money for small wildlife. The most spectacular of these small creatures were the bushbabies. I have shown this one eyeing a large tropical beetle which it may or may not succeed in catching."
