Mountain goats are lucky animals. They probably always feel like they're on top of the world.  Living in the Rockies and other western mountain ranges of North America, mountain goats have evolved with the strength and balance needed to survive on the icy cliffs and steep precipices they call home. Few predators can scale the heights to pursue them and once they do, they find their would-be prey almost invisible, their white coats a perfect camouflage against the snow.
