"An abandoned vintage English Ford is a silent witness to the changing seasons. But far from rusting away, the abandoned relic has become a playground for the many woodland creatures in the Northumberland Forest. I thought it would be fun to paint a family of raccoons enjoying their new find --- a once-elegant car now left to the elements. The theme of this painting focused on man and nature. Ultimately, nature won out."
