"When I visited this old Spanish Colonial fort that had been restored, I was intrigued by the textures flaking away from the walls that were more exposed to the elements. The white-winged doves are common in the area of adobe, and I somehow felt that they lent an air of history and heritage in keeping with the old Spanish missions."
